We are looking for someone with significant professional experience in urban planning law to co-teach the graduate-level course URP 502: U.S. Planning Institutions and Law in the winter 2025 semester (January 1 - April 30). Instruction activities will include at least the following activities: co-instructing with the lead instructor for one or more course lectures on professional writing; meeting with individual students to provide feedback on writing organization, mechanics, and presentation for drafts of four policy/legal memos assigned over the course of the semester; grading final drafts of those four memos; and assisting the lead instructor on writing instruction for other written student work products (e.g., legal case briefs) as mutually agreed upon. The expected effort for the appointment is 12.5%.
