Summary of Job Duties:

The Lab Support Tech II works under the direct supervision of the slides and blocks Supervisor. This position provides comprehensive support for indirect patient care activities. This position is responsible for accessing and mailing back outside materials sent to UAMS. This includes, but is not limited to, accounting for the materials and making sure the proper procedure is used to log patient information into Epic. The LST II will support the section by ordering additional material as needed, printing reports, conference support and releasing internal material for outside requests.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • (2) years of experience as a Lab Tech or Assistant in a Clinical Laboratory or 60 hours of completed higher education in a health sciences programs.
