Position Summary

 

Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Washington University in St. Louis, to work on a NIH-funded research project investigating how neural and motivational mechanisms of age-related change in emotion regulation vary based on depressive psychopathology and indicators of pre-clinical Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). The position will include supervising assessment of emotion and emotion regulation, as well as analyzing data and preparing manuscripts related to the research project.

Required Qualifications

 

Ph.D. (or about to be awarded one) in psychology or neuroscience.

 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with R and/or programming (e.g., Python, Mplus).
  • Experience with collecting, processing, and analyzing sampling data.
  • Experience with peripheral psychophysiology data collection, processing, and/or analysis.
  • Excellent data analytic skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and to work independently and as part of a team.

 

Salary Range

 

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
