
Coordinator, Enrollment Mgt Operations & Planning
Job Description
The coordinator of enrollment management operations and planning is responsible for supporting the University’s strategic enrollment planning initiatives as directed by the vice president. The position provides day-to-day support for the operations of the division, administrative project management support for the Enrollment Management leadership team, and high-level administrative functions for the vice president and other senior leaders in the division.
The coordinator has oversight of multiple projects to support the work of the division and collaborates with internal and external constituents in support of recruitment and marketing initiatives. The position manages various strategic enrollment projects on behalf of the leadership team to develop plans and ensure deliverables and milestones are met. The role provides communications, reports, and high-level creative and organizational support for efforts to support the University’s priorities and goals.
The coordinator ensures divisional personnel matters and staff development are aligned with institutional policies and priorities and industry best practices, will develop and implement divisional strategies surrounding the search process, new employee onboarding, and professional development plans.
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrated experience with coordinating and managing high priority projects including experience earned through internships or student employment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet-based collaboration tools
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to think and act independently and work to aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to create and sustain a professional and collaborative work environment
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, education, or related field and/or experience in the enrollment management or education
- Proficiency with Slate or other CRM/student information platforms
Project Management (30%)
- Manage and oversee the communication and assessment of divisional goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures for the Division of Enrollment Management which are critical to student recruitment and retention efforts.
- Direct administrative and other initiatives related to the recruitment and marketing operations of the university, as well as special projects and programs initiated by the division’s leadership team.
- Provide outcomes and monitor progress of divisional strategic goals and priorities.
Divisional Operations & Planning (30%)
- Manage the daily operation of the division, ensuring that priority projects and processes are completed effectively, on time, and on budget.
- Ensure compliance with budget parameters, efficiently process purchase orders, check requests, manage office supplies and recruitment materials. Establish and enhance systems that undergird the fiscal responsibility of the offices.
- Coordinate aspects of training for new hires, including but not limited to, new staff paperwork, new staff training schedules, training manuals, division flowcharts, and employee lists.
- Participate in the development of policy and practice, including research and best practices, and draft proposals, at the direction of the vice president.
- Strengthen staff professional development by creating and maintaining a professional development plan, and by implementing and assessing professional development opportunities and divisional meetings.
- Oversee and direct divisional onboarding and staff mentoring initiatives.
Administrative Support (30%)
- Develop and ensures an integrated approach to communications for the division, including President’s Council and Board of Trustee reports, communications with enrollment management leadership, and University constituents.
- Maintain divisional membership and engagement with enrollment and recruitment organizations such as NASFA, NACAC, AACRAO, AMA and other regional and national associations.
- Support the vice president and other leadership within the division with effective and strategic calendaring, meeting organization, agenda preparation, committee management, and event planning for divisional activities
- Manage routine inquires and communications on behalf of the vice president and other leadership and ensure professional and collegial communications within stakeholders and constituents.
Other Duties as Assigned (10%)
- Assist, as directed and needed, with the supervision of the student employees within the President’s Suite.
- Engage and assist with various projects and ad hoc committees, as needed.
