FHCSD's Program for All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is designed to help our patients maintain a high standard of independent living. Our program provides a wide range of supportive services including in-home care, meals, medical equipment, transportation, social services, and social activities. We are currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide care at our PACE - College Grove location as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Roles:
  • Screen and diagnose speech and language disorders
  • Provide assessment and/or consultation regarding speech and language, oral-motor, and feeding skills, according to each patient's needs and physician recommendations
  • Provides treatment and speech and language therapy
  • Demonstrates ability to develop, document, write, and communicate treatment goals and treatment plans for SLPAs post-SL evaluation or consultation
  • Works effectively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team
  • Consult with and effectively communicate with other team members, assist in monitoring patient progress, and participate in case conferencing meetings
  • Completes all required documentation accurately according to department standards and compliance with patients' insurance requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Current California State licensure as Speech Language Pathologist required; license must be maintained for the duration of employment
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Ability and means to travel as needed promptly within San Diego County
  • C.C.C. (ASHA) in Speech Pathology preferred CPR Certification

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base range for this position, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.

$85,000.00 - $108,887.17

If you are hired at Family Health Centers of San Diego, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, jurisdictional requirements, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to these factors - we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth.
