ND IT Fellow Associates (Two year limited term)

Job Description

Job Title

ND IT Fellow Associates (Two year limited term)

Job Description

The ND IT Fellows Program has multiple openings for recent college graduates to develop and grow their professional career in Information Technology while working for the OIT as IT Fellows Associates. The participants will perform meaningful professional work connected to ND IT priorities and strategies. Fellows are embedded in various IT teams where they gain experience, knowledge and the practical application of IT concepts.

The program is limited term (two years) and consists of three sequential eight-month rotational assignments in internal IT departments such as:

  • ServiceNow
  • Business Analytics
  • AWS Cloud Computing
  • Information Security
  • Network Engineering
  • IT Marketing and Communications

The IT Fellows Associates will apply general professional principles learned during their undergraduate degree programs to practical project work within their rotation teams. Through their exposure to multiple internal IT departments, the IT Fellows Associate will each craft their own IT journey.

The Fellows Program also provides extensive professional development, exposure to IT senior leaders, a mini rotation in a Notre Dame Global Gateway and conference attendance. Each Fellow will also have a coach to help guide them through their IT journeys. Depending on the rotation, availability and necessity, Fellows can expect to achieve different certifications that will enhance their understanding of IT principles and make them more competitive in the workplace.
