Summary of Position
Support the effective use of teaching and learning technologies at the UNH School of Law primarily by supporting faculty, staff and students in learning spaces. This person is responsible for the selection of technology, the oversight of projects to install technology, the troubleshooting and maintenance of the technology, asset management/ inventory, and some training of its use. This person also provides support and execution of special events. Additional support includes digital signage, and Tier 1 support for IT / instructional technology tools. Work under general supervision of UNH Leaning Space Technologies Manager and in close coordination with UNH LST Technical Services Manager while maintaining autonomy to execute support of the UNH School of Law’s IT needs.

Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience in information technology field. Experience with audiovisual presentation technology. Experience troubleshooting digital audiovisual systems. Strong organizational skills and effective oral and written communication skills.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Higher Education Information Technology department.
Audiovisual, Network, Project management skills. Experience with Crestron Control / electronics. Customer service experience. ITSM methodology experience and AVIXA CTS Certification.

Duty/Responsibility
Provide technical support for faculty, staff, students, and guests on use of the audio/visual technology in the various learning spaces: classrooms & conference rooms, and event spaces of UNH Law and GSC Concord. (GSC needs cease 6/30/23). Facilitate UNH Customer Support Services group to help create documentation for use of the technology, and troubleshooting/repairing hardware and software failures.Use the AV VLAN to monitor/ restore the networked equipment. Work in tight coordination with UNH Technical Services Manager of ET&S LST (currently Daniel DeVaughn) assist in the design and maintenance of integrated audio/visual technology in the various classrooms, conference rooms, and event spaces, ensuring standardization room to room, ease of use for clients. Assist in upgrading spaces with the latest technologies; manage projects to execute. Maintain standard USNH ET&S ITSM practices by understanding and reporting all incidents and service requests through the ITSM incident/ service reporting tool, currently TeamDynamix. Provide preventative maintenance and light installation services on all audiovisual systems. Assist in training users on all aspects of effective use of the AV equipment. Work under and general supervision and report to UNH Leaning Space Technologies Manager.
Duty/Responsibility
Provide Tier I technical support for faculty, staff, students, and guests on all modern mobile and desktop operating systems, including Tier 1-type support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications. Escalate all incidents higher than a Tier 1 level to ET&S Desktop Management service line through ITSM ticketing tool (TeamDynamix). Work closely with UNH Law IT Director to support general IT issues.
Duty/Responsibility
Coordinate facilities needs, staffing, and execution of public and internal special events at the Concord campus. Utilize UNH resources from UNH Durham, Manchester when appropriate. Synchronize with regular communications with existing USNH Special Events groups when appropriate to improve events and decrease costs.

Provide general Tier 1 support of faculty, staff and students in the classroom with a variety of academic technology platforms while relying on expertise of associated USNH Service Lines. Escalate support of Tier II issues to the appropriate USNH Service Line – e.g. Canvas, MyUNH, Zoom, Box, updating Drupal web pages using the ITSM methodology and using ITSM ticket system.
Duty/Responsibility
Constantly develop skills while maintaining currency with new and emerging technologies as applicable to learning space technologies. Attend training classes on a professional development track laid out by direct supervisor- examples – including but not limited to: Crestron Programming, Avixa CTS Certifications (CTS, CTS-D, CTS-I), networking for audiovisual, Dante Audio & Video, Video-over-IP, Audio engineering classes, video production classes.
