Summary of Position

This position supports the instrumentation and data collection of engineering and research projects, the supervision of the operation and maintenance of the stormwater research facility, undergraduate staff, and associated projects; the analysis of data for distribution; and the science-based outreach for the Center. Responsibilities 1) Assistance with management of research projects, development of experimental design, and implementation of new research efforts. 2) Coordinate and supervise work of engineering students and associated staff on the operation and maintenance of the stormwater research facility, and associated projects including monitoring equipment, data management, sample management, ordering supplies, some grant management. 3) Assist in the preparation of research proposals and cost estimates as required. 4) Computational analysis and evaluation of research data, preparation of research results for publication and distribution.

Bachelor’s degree in scientific field related to the technical work performed. Computer skills. Working knowledge of data processing and techniques.
