Data Solutions Analyst, Executive Degree Programs

Job Description

DATA SOLUTIONS ANALYST, Sloan School of Management-Executive Degree Programs (EDP), to perform data analysis and interpretation.  Will partner on defining and creating EDP’s overall marketing reporting and analytics strategy; review existing set-ups to manage and capture data and make recommendations for improved efficiency; lead efforts on data analysis and interpretation of data sets to identify trends and metrics; identify areas of opportunity to create action plans and project scopes to address analytical and reporting needs; develop custom reporting and interactive analytical tools that provide relevant and timely data to identify trends and metrics used to inform strategy and support business objectives; present marketing forecasts and activity recommendations through data mining and predictive modeling analyses; craft visual reports; and create campaigns in Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in a related field; two years’ relevant work experience analyzing and modeling large complex data sets and creating reports and dashboards, including data visualization and communication tools; experience with data analysis, design, and implementation, including working with end users to gather and interpret requirements; experience with SQL, Tableau, statistical programming languages, and predictive analysis, techniques, tools, and statistical methodology; Microsoft Office fluency, particularly Excel (using embedded macros); experience administering projects/programs/processes; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; and excellent administrative, analytical, problem-solving, data interpretation, time-management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to quickly learn new software and navigate complex databases; take abstract questions and drill down through complex data and make a strong data-driven case when presenting findings/recommendations; remain receptive to feedback; and synthesize, evaluate, and convey information in a clear, cohesive manner.  Job #23942-7

Salary range:  $63,860 - 85,388 - 06,915, based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity.  Generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
