Brain-Score Research Scientist 1

Job Description

BRAIN-SCORE RESEARCH SCIENTIST, MIT Quest for Intelligence, to perform research to continue the development and expansion of Brain-Score, a platform that evaluates computational models on their alignment to neural and behavioral brain data in the domains of vision and language.  Will collaborate with the international Brain-Score community to identify and carry out enabling research contributing to our understanding of the alignment of computational models to data collected from humans and non-human primates, allowing a deeper understanding of areas of similarity and difference.  Responsibilities include carrying out experiments--largely digital in nature--designed to compare and contrast AI models of vision and language with both neural and behavioral data; expanding and further developing the Brain-Score platform to enable comparisons, at scale, of models to experimental data; collaborating on specific research thrusts that result in new metrics, data, and computational models; evangelizing the platform by publishing in leading journals, presenting at conferences, and participating in workshops utilizing Brain-Score; and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
