- Bachelor’s degree preferably in communications or marketing or a related field.
- Experience managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- High degree of familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, InDesign, Lightroom, and Photoshop
- Comfortable using a mirrorless camera and microphone setups to capture compelling and visually appealing photo/video content
- Experience with and/or enthusiasm for creating short-form video for platforms like Instagram and TikTok
- Comfortable communicating about sometimes complex scientific topics
- Self-starter who is willing to seek out content ideas and get the ball rolling independently
- Persistence when faced with obstacles while managing projects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly
- Excited to learn new things and grow with the position
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in higher education communication, particularly social media marketing.
- Knowledge of agricultural, natural resource, environmental and life sciences fields.
- Knowledge of the State Agricultural Experiment Station system.

- Create a variety of multimedia content – primarily photos and videos – to be shared through a variety of digital channels, including social media, web, email, and more.
- This includes the use of professional camera equipment and software such as Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro to edit content.

- Use Adobe InDesign to design a wide range of graphics for print and digital purposes.
- Some examples include social media graphics, handouts, booklets, and print publications.
- Coordinate with various printing vendors to produce print deliverables.

- Manage the social media presence of the College of Life Sciences & Agriculture and NH Agricultural Experiment Station across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- This includes overseeing the work of social media interns and COLSA ambassadors who help with content production.
