A leading global university centred in Asia, the National University of Singapore (NUS) is Singapore's flagship university. The university was ranked the 11th and 24th most prestigious globally by current QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education (THE) global reputation rankings. The Institute for Health Innovation & Technology (iHealthtech) is an NUS research institute housed next to the National University Hospital and aims to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration among engineers, scientists, clinicians and data analysts to tackle some of the most urgent clinical challenges and needs. The institute also seeks to work with industrial partners to bring research outcomes from the bench to the bedside and market with its own dedicated translational research team. iHealthtech's research culture encourages its scientists to innovate and embrace entrepreneurship.
Currently, iHealthtech is hiring postdoctoral fellows to work on cutting edge research and technology in immunology, oncology, disease diagnostics, robotics, wearable sensors, and organ-on-chip.
Requirements
The successful applicant must have a PhD degree and/or postdoctoral experience in a relevant field in engineering, science, medicine and computing, a proven track record with publications in reputable peer-review journals, and be able to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team within and outside of the lab. The salary is commensurate with research experience and accomplishments.
