Are you interested in applying your Software Engineering skills to help solve some of the Nation's hardest national security problems?

Do you take pride in your software development skills and want to apply them to challenging problems?

 

If you are graduating with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computational Math and want to work in Software Engineering, we'd love to have you join our team! We are seeking a hard-working software engineer to help us design, implement, and test new engagement optimization algorithms. We regularly write software that is cross-platform and that has to run in many different environments. We develop everything from small scripts to perform analysis up to large scale, system-of-systems modeling frameworks and everything in between. We regularly collaborate with other organizations to provide the best possible answers to our sponsors.

  • Your primary responsibility will be designing and implementing software in support of our groups Engagement Optimization mission.
  • You will be part of a highly collaborative team, make critical contributions to challenging problems, and participate in design discussions and software implementation.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computational Math, or equivalent field.
  • Are skilled in and/or have knowledge of Software Engineering from design to implementation and testing.
  • Have experience writing Object Oriented Software in a high-level language (C++, Java, Python).
  • Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

You'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

  • Have experience in Large Scale Software Engineering and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Regularly work in a cross-platform environment and are comfortable going back and forth between Linux and Windows.
  • Possess experience in implementing DevOps pipelines to ensure software quality.
  • Have worked on distributed decision making algorithms.
